Kingston: Bamboo Removal

On March 29th from 10am – 1pm, join WMA 10 Watershed Ambassador Claire and the Kingston Greenways Association in clearing out bamboo from along the canal towpath! Volunteers will work to remove young bamboo shoots and prevent them from spreading. Supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own gloves or clippers. Bamboo shoots will be used to create native bee habitats! Volunteers are also welcome to bring some bamboo home for craft projects. Dress for the weather and ready to work!
