Parking is available (but limited) in the parking lot at the juncture of Division Street and Ridge and Heathcote Roads. Carpooling is encouraged. For more information, please visit http://www.kingstongreenways.org/. We hope you will join us!

Although the Cook Natural Area (also known as the Cook Preserve) is under the administration by the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park, the Park is part of the Division of Parks and Forestry of the Department of Environmental Protection of New Jersey. It should be noted that, although the deed of the land to the State by the Cook estate is explicit in stating that no hunting is to be permitted on the property, hunters have been recently observed supporting blinds and cultivating and maintaining a "shooting preserve" on the Cook Preserve. We encourage anyone taking part in the KGA foliage walk to be vigilant to illegal hunter activity.
